Who you are:

You have worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician for a minimum of 1 year with experience working in a similar role. You have a Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies (residency) in the field of Emergency Medicine.

You possess a:

  • Valid license to practice medicine in New Brunswick through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB), ATLS, and ACLS Certification.

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level. Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.

What you will do:

Reporting to the Emergency Medicine Department Head and the Medical Director for the area, the Emergency Medicine Physician collaborates with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and other Allied Medical Staff to provide:

  1. Emergency-centered care to all age groups and genders presenting to the emergency room.
  2. Participate in Medical Staff and Hospital Committees as required.
  3. Participate in medical practice that is compatible with the Health Authority’s mission, values, and strategic directions.
  4. Other duties that may arise by circumstance and may be assigned by the Department of Emergency Medicine.
