The Credit Analyst is responsible for Credit Management, Customer Master Management, Bad AR Monitoring, and AR Support.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Credit

  • Support corporate credit policy and procedures;
  • Execute periodic credit reviews of customer’s accounts based on overall creditworthiness assessment & provide credit recommendations;
  • Timely assess creditworthiness of existing and/or new customers by evaluating applications, financial transactions, and credit/payment history;
  • Manage the credit limit from insurer, prepayment/Letter of Credit from customers to support customer credit limits and promptly communicate with related parties;
  • Review and assess credit and financial conditions of customers on a regular basis;
  • Monitor AR Aging to minimize company’s exposure to bad debt and report & file the claim to insurance in a timely manner;
  • Monitor violation of credit policies or any changes in financial stability, payment terms, legal name/ownership and re-evaluate credit terms accordingly;
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to communicate credit decisions.

Customer Master Management

  • Accurate new customer information registration;
  • Enter, update, and retrieve information for credit applications;
  • Conduct regular inspections to clean up unnecessary customer codes;
  • Regular annual agreements review and reconciliation;
  • Reconcile payment terms on a regular basis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Business, or Accounting & 1-3 years’ experience;
  • Proficiency in reading/interpreting financial statements for the purpose of underwriting credit;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, strong ability to multitask, detail-oriented and well organized;
  • Ability to work independently, but also collaboratively in a team;
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism;
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
