What you’re responsible for:

  1. Safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility.
  2. Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely placing them in designated areas or processing equipment.
  3. Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security.
  4. Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel.
  5. Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance.
  6. You may be asked to operate the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  1. Crane Operator certification and/or experience is required.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting.
  3. Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials.
  4. Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling.
  5. Familiarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples.
