Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Cage Manager or Supervisor, this position is responsible for exceptional customer service, counting and movement of cash assets from the gaming floor, while accurately managing the care, control, transfer, and balancing of financial assets at the gaming site. Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Great Canadian's culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.
Key Accountabilities- Removes bill validators from slot machines
- Ensure that all drops are transferred to the count room areas with a security escort
- Empties bill validators and table games drop boxes
- Transfers assets to the proper department
- Participates in the physical count of all currency from the casino floor, balances, other drops as assigned and bank receipts.
- Ensures all drop processing is completed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures
- Exemplifies and creates Great Experiences and Memories

- Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education And Qualification Requirements- Embraces the Great Canadian's culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious service-oriented attitude!
- Must have excellent mathematical skills, including efficient and accurate counting and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Must possess strong observation skills
- Ability to grasp concepts quickly
- Must have interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, including active listening skills
- Required to lift 50lbs. repeatedly during shift
- Schedule flexibility required
- Must be able to complete Count Room training
Work Environment ConsiderationsRegular casino environment may have non-traditional work hours, schedule flexibility is required.
