Here's How

  1. Offer solution-focused counseling to a diverse range of clients with various personal and work-related issues.
  2. Evaluate client needs, set objectives, and develop strategies within the framework of the client's EAP plan.
  3. Create personalized action plans to help clients achieve their goals.
  4. Manage administrative tasks in line with TELUS Health's clinical models, including maintaining client records and documentation.
  5. Communicate effectively with TELUS Health's EAP team.
  6. Uphold professional and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with regulations and policies.
  7. Stay updated on mental health developments and engage in ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

  1. Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work;
  2. Membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), with valid professional liability insurance.
  3. Minimum five (5) years post-graduate counselling experience with multiple populations.
  4. Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach.
  5. Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others.
  6. Able to work with individuals, couples and families and good knowledge of community resources.
  7. Professionally maintained private office space for in-person sessions.
