Here's How
- Offer solution-focused counseling to a diverse range of clients with various personal and work-related issues.
- Evaluate client needs, set objectives, and develop strategies within the framework of the client's EAP plan.
- Create personalized action plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Manage administrative tasks in line with TELUS Health's clinical models, including maintaining client records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with TELUS Health's EAP team.
- Uphold professional and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with regulations and policies.
- Stay updated on mental health developments and engage in ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work;
- Membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), with valid professional liability insurance.
- Minimum five (5) years post-graduate counselling experience with multiple populations.
- Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach.
- Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others.
- Able to work with individuals, couples and families and good knowledge of community resources.
- Professionally maintained private office space for in-person sessions.
