Corporate Procurement Specialist (Contract)

Agilus is recruiting for a Corporate Procurement Specialist (Contract) in the Oil and Gas Industry in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Management, this role supports vendor relations, Corporate Services, HR, and primarily IT-related requisitions, including renewals, daily transactions, and RFPs.

Responsibilities:

1. Meet weekly with the IT team to forecast upcoming contract renewals.
2. Process daily purchase order (PO) requests and enter them into the system.
3. Manage a high volume of POs on a daily and weekly basis.
4. Support and coordinate RFP activities.
5. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
6. Frequent contract renewals and high-volume daily transactional work, including consistent entry of purchase orders into the system.

The successful candidate brings:

1. Post secondary degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5–7 years of experience in corporate procurement.
3. Proven ability to manage a high volume of daily and weekly purchase orders.
4. Experience with IT purchases, including SaaS agreements, hardware, license renewals, and RFPs for IT projects.
5. Experience handling mid- to large-scale projects ($100K–$1M range).
6. Experience managing contingent worker contracts and related reporting.
7. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
8. Proactive self-starter with a focus on adding value, including identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Total rewards:

1. $65.00 - $75.00 hourly.
2. Monday to Friday, 4 days work from home per month, 8am to 4:30pm.
3. 6 Month Contract.
4. Weekly pay, every Friday!
