Prio Auto Sales is one of Canada's leading car dealerships, known for our exceptional customer service and vast inventory. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our Ottawa office.

Job Description:
The Corporate Paralegal will play a key role in handling legal matters for Prio Auto Sales. This position involves drafting legal documents, letters, contracts, and correspondence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting legal activities. The paralegal will also work closely with owners and managers, assisting in the preparation and handling of legal matters as needed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple legal tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, letters, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in preparing documents for legal matters such as lawsuits and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Conduct legal research and provide summaries to the management team.
• Assist owners and managers with legal matters and provide necessary support.
• Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Assist in developing and reviewing internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Paralegal diploma or equivalent education.
• Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.
• Experience in corporate or commercial law is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in legal research and document drafting.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $30.00 per hour
