Position: Copacker Buyer Reports to: Director, Procurement
We are looking for a Copacker Buyer to join our Procurement team! Our Copacker Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and managing the relationship with third-party companies (copackers) that will manufacture and package products for our delicious, plant-powerful products.

Experience
- You have proven experience in a high-stress fast-paced environment
- You have 3-5 years of copacker, sourcing and buying experience
Nice-to-Have
- You have experience purchasing food ingredients
- You have co-packing experience
- You have post-secondary education in supply chain management / procurement
Things you will do…
- Champion procurement activities in a busy food production environment
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, manage material requirements and associated logistics
- Source food ingredients ensuring items purchased follow established policies and procedures
- Negotiate and track contracts with brokers or suppliers providing analytical data and reports to support
- Generate savings on raw materials and logistics using commodity knowledge to support business objectives
- Ensure the quality of materials, competitive pricing, and sufficient supply at all times
