The University of Lethbridge is seeking a full-time, continuing role as a Coordinator – Strategic Teaching and Learning Initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of the Teaching Centre, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead research and projects related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, educational technologies, classroom technology, innovative classroom design, and artificial intelligence. This position plays a key role in advancing the student experience at the University of Lethbridge. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of highly qualified staff and faculty who are passionate about enhancing teaching and learning at the University of Lethbridge.

Position Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Education or related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years in leading/managing educational technology and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning initiatives.
Experience planning, conducting and analyzing the data collected from mixed methodology research projects. Familiarity with quantitative statistical analysis practices (in a variety of disciplines) as well as qualitative coding and analysis methodology. Familiarity with qualitative analysis software is a definite asset.
Knowledge, training, and experience with educational technology, using Artificial Intelligence for teaching and learning, scholarship of teaching and learning, and teaching/mentoring post-secondary instructors is required. Experience working with Moodle, Blackboard, D2L, Canvas or other Learning Management Systems is required.
A high level of technical aptitude and experience is required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a collaborative team-based academic environment is required. The ability to work flexibly and independently within a team structure while maintaining close working relationships with faculty and staff is required.
Experience teaching at the post-secondary level preferred.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$5,291.00 - $5,990.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$5,291.00 - $6,687.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 12)
