The Role:
This is a great opportunity to work within our Performance Digital team, working on two of Canada’s largest automotive accounts. You’re someone who is passionate about performance-focused digital media (search, social, display, video) and would love the opportunity to apply your craft in a collaborative 360 environment.
We believe digital media (search, social, display, video) provide intelligence way beyond impressions, clicks, and conversions. You will collaborate with our entire group of in-house Tier 1 (National), Tier 2 (Regional), and Tier 3 (Local) Media Planners, Media Buyers, Creatives, SEM / SEO / SMM / Programmatic Traders, and Data Analysts to drive results.
What your typical day will look like:
- Assist and eventually lead the management of monthly offer creative, including, but not limited to, search ad copy development (RSAs), extension development (sitelinks, callouts, snippets, price extensions, etc.), developing ad copy and selecting images for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, PMax, and GDN (Google Display Network), and most importantly, managing and implementing client feedback.
- Assist and eventually lead the management of monthly creative trafficking, including, but not limited to, search uploads in SA360 or Google Ads Editor and uploading images and ad copy into Pinterest, PMax, GDN, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Assist with the monitoring, tracking, evaluation, and optimization of paid search, paid social, and non-programmatic paid display/video campaign performance to maximize client investment, including, but not limited to, daily budget pacing, audience optimizations, bid optimizations, developing ad copy, A/B testing ad copy and landing page variations, query reports, and ensuring creative is tagged appropriately.
- Assist with maintenance of efficient billing processes for all performance digital marketing investments, including, but not limited to, receiving and reconciling invoices from media partners against actual spend amounts, connecting with media partners and internal team members to resolve and clear any discrepancy/invoicing issues, and assisting team members with internal budget orders and media buying processes.
- Assist with ad-hoc and scheduled report creation, including, but not limited to, weekly/monthly/yearly performance analysis, channel performance analysis, A/B testing ad copy and landing page variations, query reports, and assisting with the provision of insightful recommendations for continual improvement.
- Continually build performance digital marketing expertise, drive innovation, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
What you bring:
- 0-1 years of paid search, paid social, and/or paid display experience.
- 0-1 years of Google Analytics and SA360 experience.
- University or College Degree in psychology, advertising, marketing, finance, or data analytics is an asset.
- Knowledge of the media industry and how advertising agencies operate is an asset.
- Experience in the Auto industry is a bonus, but the right attitude is more important; extensive training will be provided.

- Experience using performance digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) is a bonus, but the right attitude is more important; extensive training will be provided.
- Experience with analytical and automatization platforms (Google Analytics, SA360, etc.) is a bonus, but the right attitude is more important; extensive training will be provided.
- Understand the importance of accountability, professionalism, and integrity in the workplace.
