Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Coordinator to support the Capital Projects department.
The Coordinator, Capital Projects provides professional level support in the operation of the Capital Planning portfolio. Key deliverables will be data collection, requirements analysis, capital project monitoring and reporting, project implementation, issues tracking, and capital plan process and procedure development. The Coordinator is responsible for issuing Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations and project tenders, working in collaboration with external consultants in the preparation of specifications and bid documents, posting of tenders, and soliciting external bids. The incumbent is also responsible for summarizing tenders and making selection recommendations under the guidance of department professional staff using a consistent tendering process. The incumbent will coordinate project initiation, implementation, close-out and evaluations with the site and the consultants. The Coordinator will also support the Project Managers in the day to day administration of projects within the department and prepare monthly departmental tracking and reporting.
Starting salary will be approximately from $67,861 to $84,826 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
