Insomnia Cookies started as a big dream in a tiny university dorm room in the US city of Philadelphia, amongst a group of friends, up late, craving something sweet and delicious. With very limited takeout options available (this was back in 2003!), our founder, Seth, took matter into his own hands. Fast forward 20 years and so... many... cookies later, Insomnia Cookies has become a cult brand known for its rabid following of cookie lovers who crave warm, delicious delivery all day and late into the night.

We’re now very excited to bring our late-night favourite to Toronto and we are actively interviewing candidates for the DELIVERY DRIVER role at our Canadian flagship store adjacent to York University! We’re not just a cookie company – we’re a community of Insomniacs. We know our cookies are the most delicious around, but it’s our team members that make Insomnia Cookies an amazing place to be. As a Delivery Driver with Insomnia Cookies, you are our ‘Boots on the ground’ and the main face that our fans see outside of the bakery! You give the word ‘Delivery’ a whole new meaning by delivering our Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are. You are an expert in the local delivery area and are focused on delivering a ‘Warm’ experience no matter where you go! Whether in a car or on a bike, our delivery drivers brave the elements to make sure that we continue to ‘Own the Night’ through delivery.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY DRIVER?

1. Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
2. Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
3. Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
4. Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

1. Must own a vehicle
2. Must have insurance in your own name
3. Must have a recent, clear drivers abstract from MTO
4. Must have a minimum G2 with 2 years driving experience
5. Read and write fluent English and be able to perform simple math calculations for purposes of customer payments
6. Knowledge of the 5KM radius around York University a plus!
7. Must have a lit topper on the car while on the clock
