Works to ensure that campers are provided with outstanding dining experiences: hot, fresh, delicious and well-presented food combined with SWEET (Service With Excellence Every Time) guest service.
Responsibilities
Maintain food quality and appearance as per MBC Guest Food Service Standards including fresh baking, salad bar, soups, main buffet and staff meals.
Active participation in all areas of preparation, cooking and serving.
Ensure the kitchen is operated in the safest possible manner; food safety, staff health and safety.
Manage a weekly team of kitchen volunteers.
Hours of Work
40-44 hours per week, June-September.
Physically demanding, heavy lifting involved; weekend work would be required.
Compensation
Hourly pay, based on experience plus 4% vacation pay.
