Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
2. Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
3. Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
4. Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
5. Order supplies and equipment.
6. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
7. Clean kitchen and work areas.
8. Manage kitchen operations.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: An asset

Salary: $23.50 per hour

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 35-40 hours per week
