Job description

We are looking for 4 full-time, permanent cooks with our company (NOC #65200) which begin as soon as you are able. The job duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Ensure the food quality is at the highest standards of the RCR Hospitality Group Ltd. with established food quality and plating specifications.
  2. Set up stations with all the necessary cooking and baking supplies.
  3. Execute and cook by sauté, grill, fry, steam, broil, and/or bake all items including hot and cold dishes from the menu in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  4. Comply with all sanitation, nutrition, and safety standards.
  5. Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures.
  6. Maintain a positive and respectful approach with all staff members and guests.

The successful candidate will be earning a wage of $16.00/hr based on a minimum 35-hour work week. In addition, you will be entitled to two weeks of vacation pay per year. Overtime is at 1.5X the base rate after 48.00 hrs per week. Minimum grade 12 required. 1 year or more experience is required in a similar job/organization. Knowledge of the English language is a must.
