Under the direction of the solicitors, the Conveyance Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for carrying out the administrative tasks required in the processing of clients' conveyances. This individual must be able to provide quick, efficient and accurate work under demanding timelines and do so effectively. In doing so, conveyancers review the following: the property's title to ensure that there are no financial impediments that need to be discharged, the relevant tax history to verify that there is no property tax in arrears, and whether there are any outstanding strata fees associated with the property. Conveyancers are responsible for a variety of legal administrative tasks related to real estate transactions including performing title searches; preparing and submitting required documents and title deeds to the Land Title registry; and registering, transferring, or discharging mortgages. The successful candidate will have completed the Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate program (or have equivalent experience) and 1-2 years of conveyancing experience preferably using econveyance software.

Experience with ESILAW, myLTSA, eConvey; comfortable communicating with the other Firm staff; capable of organizing files and binders; can prepare correspondence, forms, and legal documents.
Salary: $46,000-$60,000 No Remote Options
