What does a Security Guard in Downtown, Toronto do?

1. Receive incoming emergency and non-emergency calls from community and non-community members
2. Initiate the appropriate response in a timely manner including connecting and transferring the caller to the right person
3. Operate with various computerized communication devices and associated equipment to receive, assess and relay information from the public to security personnel in a courteous, professional, and expedient manner
4. Remain calm under pressure and be able to multitask during high call volumes from telephone and radio communications
5. Be able to prioritize and dispatch accordingly
6. Problem solve on the go utilizing tools and training you’ve acquired

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Downtown, Toronto:

1. A valid security guard license
2. A valid CPR certification recognized by WSIB
3. Available to work flexible hours
4. Previous Control Center experience (Between 1-3 years)
