Job Description

The New Build Program Management division within Fleetway Inc. is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing New Build Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy. The team, comprising of Project, Program and Portfolio Managers as well as Contracts Specialists, works collaboratively to create engaging experiences and initiatives that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders while remaining aligned with organizational goals. From concept to execution, our department ensures projects and programs are strategically planned and efficiently executed.

Responsibilities

1. Contract and sub-contract development, management & maintenance
2. Support Purchase Orders, cost accounts and invoicing
3. Following and ensuring compliance with corporate contracting policies
4. Tracking active contracts and managing client expirations
5. Cost Account Management and reporting
6. Data analysis
7. Maintaining contract records and databases for amendments and correspondence
8. Supporting the administration of Customer Contracts Function through effective commercial and correspondence administration, including notices/letters and contract amendments
9. Supporting the drafting of contract terms and conditions, and ensuring consistency with underlying statements of work and technical specifications

Qualifications

1. University degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science or Business Administration preferred
2. 3-5+ years supporting and managing contracts for complex, high-value programs
3. Familiarity with JD Edwards software considered an asset
