Position Summary

The Contracts Financial Analyst conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. This is a hybrid role based out of our Edmonton, AB office.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance financial systems, partnering with finance and internal commercial team members.
• Collaborate with IT and finance to ensure business requirements are met.
• May be responsible for end user training. Ensure that financial modules are working effectively and efficiently, and that proper security is in place.
• Prepare data sets, statistical reports, and applications to support finance.
• Develop KPI and dashboard reports.
• Work with IT to ensure standardization of information across various business platforms.
• Assist with other accounting activities as needed.
• Ensure the integrity of internal controls.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of four years accounting or business degree preferred.
• 4+ years accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Resourcefulness and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems.
• Detail oriented.
