The Contract Manager will lead the provision of Facility Management Services for a portfolio of key clients, reporting to the Department Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contract delivery, from contract performance to change order negotiation.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Contract Administration:

  • Oversee and manage contracts for facilities management services with federal agencies. Ensure compliance with SLAs, reporting requirements, and federal standards. Review contract terms for alignment with company goals.

Service Delivery:

  • Coordinate service delivery (maintenance, repairs, custodial) with internal teams. Maintain schedules and monitor quality assurance to meet deadlines and performance standards.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary contact for federal agencies. Foster relationships, address concerns, and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure contract compliance.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to federal, provincial, and internal regulations. Mitigate risks and maintain accurate contract performance records.

Financial Management:

  • Manage contract budgets, approve invoices, and provide financial performance reports.

Contract Modifications & Renewals:

  • Oversee contract changes, extensions, and renewals. Identify opportunities for improvement and present them to leadership.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field
  • Certification in Contract Management (CPCM, CFCM) or Facility Management (FMP, CFM) would be considered an asset

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of contract management experience, preferably in facilities or government contracting
  • Experience with government or military contracts
  • Familiarity with federal building codes, safety, and environmental regulations

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to hold and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving abilities
