Description

As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist at Estée Lauder, you will play a key role in embedding and driving the use of Prestige Performance System (PPS) to improve the maturity levels of the site and enhance operational performance. This role focuses on building a culture of continuous improvement by empowering teams to use PPS work processes effectively, solving problems, and improving manufacturing processes. You will need to be adaptable and open-minded, creating processes and solutions that work well within our manufacturing culture while encouraging ongoing improvements across priority areas.

You will collaborate with teams to ensure that PPS principles (Focused Improvement, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance) are utilized effectively and continuously, ensuring measurable results in operational performance. Your work will focus primarily on improving equipment reliability, reducing waste, and optimizing production processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of PPS tools (Tier Meetings, Focused Improvement, Autonomous Maintenance) into day-to-day operations.
  • Present, facilitate and lead assigned process improvement projects using methods of culture-appropriate team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving and project management.
  • Perform tactical work related to implementing, supporting and maintaining manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis techniques to provide solutions to process-related failures (Pareto Analysis, SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Utilize Lean Value Stream Mapping for CI purposes (identification and elimination of production and transactional wastes).
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials on PPS principles and problem-solving tools (such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams).
  • Foster change management concepts.
Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years.

Additional Job Specifications

  • Working Conditions: office with everyday exposure to production floor and warehouse environment (PPE required).
  • Skills:
  • LEAN certification/Six Sigma training preferred.
  • Exposure to Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Professional communication skills and proven leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Minitab, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP System and processes preferred.
  • Facilitation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Problem solving.
  • Knowledge of applicable policy, procedures and systems within a manufacturing environment.
Pay Range

Anticipated Base Salary Range $63,900.00 to $95,900.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly). In addition, the Company maintains highly competitive incentive compensation programs (role eligibility may vary based on terms of the respective plan(s)).
