We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Content Marketing Manager with strong storytelling abilities to join our team of content creators, video, and designers. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to own and expand our video podcast series, What I Wish I Knew. You will also be instrumental in scripting and storyboarding our videos and event materials (including executive presentations). As a member of the content marketing team, you will also be responsible for sourcing and producing various types of original content across marketing channels to enhance brand awareness, generate demand, and drive inbound leads.

What you’ll do:

  1. Responsible for the management (scheduling, creation, distribution, optimization) of our video podcast series.
  2. Script and storyboard videos, including promotions, customer stories, and expert interviews, for use across marketing channels (social, website, advertising, events).
  3. Create content for our target audience/personas that aligns with each stage of the buyer’s journey.
  4. Collaborate with the digital marketing and product marketing teams to develop compelling ad copy, emails, landing page and website copy, as well as recommend content that is relevant for our target audiences.
  5. Leverage feedback and data results to identify content & communications that are effective or not effective and suggest an alternative approach or asset.
  6. Identify and run A/B tests to understand the most effective content for our target audiences.
  7. Collaborate with Content Strategist to create social media copy that resonates with our audience and builds audience for video podcast series.
  8. Work closely with product marketing team to embed company messaging, thought leadership, and point of view into content.
  9. Assist with agenda and speaker scripts for large-scale events, such as Accelerate.
  10. Ensure message consistency and adherence to corporate style and branding guidelines.

What you’ll bring to Varicent:

  1. 5+ years of experience in content creation and copywriting.
  2. Knowledge of SEO best practices and incorporating into content.
  3. Experience managing the creation of content, from ideation to execution.
  4. Emphasis on video content.
  5. Passion for creating compelling stories.
  6. Project management skills and experience.
  7. College/university degree in journalism, marketing communications, English or relevant field.
  8. High level of interpersonal and organizational skills, with excellent communication skills.
  9. Ability to work professionally with team members at varying levels of the organization, as well as external clients and partners.
