Job Title: Content Marketing Manager (Classic Cars)
Location: Chatham, ON or Detroit, MI

Our Client is looking for a Content Marketing Manager with specific interest and experience within the Classic Car Hobby.

The Content Marketing Manager is a ‘storyteller’ of our company, assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of the company's content strategy. They are responsible for the management, creation, and production of online and offline marketing content.

Job description:

1. Works closely with senior leaders, sales, research, and marketing/PR teammates to create effective content strategies.
2. Builds and maintains editorial/content calendar and develops metrics for ensuring the effectiveness of marketing content.
3. Identifies and ideates engaging stories on cars consigned, auctions, or events the company is participating in, conceptualizing how best to tell and share these stories via available channels.
4. Provides editorial content to external partners and paid publications.
5. Ideates and devises content plans and updates for various marketing channels, including website - blog/auctions/homepage, paid social, print pieces, and emails, working closely with consigning specialists, in-house digital/creative/social team members, historians, and freelance writers/videographers as needed.
6. Works closely with the PR team to ensure stories translate well into media pitches, press releases, and larger communication strategies.
7. Coordinates with our company's other partners and third parties to produce high-quality joint content programs as needed.
8. Edits all content intended for company channels provided by the team or external sources.
9. Serves as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company’s tone and mission. Writes clean, concise, and well-polished copy.
10. Ensures content is optimized considering SEO and Google Analytics and works with the digital marketing team to implement best SEO practices.
11. Develops and maintains a network of freelance writers, photographers, videographers, production firms, historians, and industry notables.

1. This position requires occasional travel between the United States and Canada.
