Position Summary
P\S\L Group is seeking an energetic and driven candidate to join our team in the role of Content Manager. This is a full-time, remote position that reports to a Manager, Content Operations. The primary objectives include project management and key account expertise, as well as content organization, editing, formatting, and proofreading materials for Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) and/or Medical Affairs (MA) reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Display expertise in client accounts as subject matter experts, including the maintenance and updating of internal client style guides, specific to the latest client requirements
- Collaborate with the Account Director and Medical Teams on content development, draft slide creation, and content revisions
- Finalize and maintain content files after client approval, in preparation for submission
- Participate in client MA or MLR reviews and review/discuss/coordinate official comments with the Account Director and Medical Teams to facilitate implementation
- Collaborate with Production Operations on the finalization of materials and approvals
- Liaise with various departments to align on project details, process, and deadlines
- Finalize and revise web/email/print deliverables for submission, oftentimes collaborating with Content Coordinators to ensure specific client requirements are followed
- Attend and contribute to internal weekly team status meetings
- Set up, manage, and organize tasks/details for various departments via project management software and Google Drive
- Work efficiently, with a sense of urgency, to ensure deadlines are met
- Demonstrate flexibility while managing multiple projects—including maintaining up-to-date status documents and ensuring high-quality standards are met—often amid shifting priorities
- Maintain constant, effective communication with internal teams
- Collaborate with necessary Content Operations team members to provide project coverage (when needed)
Key Skills, Knowledge & Professional Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Pharmaceutical agency experience
- Project management, editorial, and copy editing experience
- MLR, MA, Pharmaceutical Industry, or Healthcare Review Process experience
- AMA Manual of Style knowledge
- Highly organized with excellent attention-to-detail
- Strong oral and written communicator
- Independently motivated team player
- Medical terminology and medical literature familiarity
- Independent and continuing medical education familiarity
