ABOUT THE ROLE
Action Against Hunger Canada is looking for a highly motivated candidate with project management skills to manage the Global Nutrition Cluster’s (GNC) Consultant Roster, which entails providing reliable and consistent services to consultant requestors and candidates. This position manages all profile information within roster databases, updating information on applications, consultant vetting, and consultant availability. The Consultant Roster Manager additionally releases email calls for the recruitment of new candidates, provides high-level vetting before sending profiles to appropriate vetting partners, sends out and assesses responses from technical tests, and responds to requests for candidates on the GNC Request Management System.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the GNC’s Consultant Roster carrying out tasks such as managing online HR systems for recruitment, reviewing applications, screening candidates’ profiles, and informing vetted candidates.
- Ensure that the GNC’s Consultant Roster is consistently staffed with qualified consultants.
- Ensure consultant profiles including recommendations, availability, and documents are constantly updated.
- Ensure efficient and effective recommendation of candidates to requestors at the appropriate levels and skills required.
- Ensure proper follow-up of consultant recommendations and update the rosters database accordingly.
- Ensure the Consultant Roster webpage and other online pages related to the rosters are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and report the roster’s performance based on the identified indicators.
- Update and communicate roster information such as Standard Operating Procedures and generate accurate statistics and quality reports for management’s review.
- Provide accurate and timely inputs in the GNC quarterly reports, GNC annual reports, and any other relevant reports.
- Engage in fundraising activities as relevant and needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline related to public health, nutrition or epidemiology studies and/or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in international development with an understanding of humanitarian, development, nutrition, gender programs, or global public health technical work.

- Demonstrated understanding of the creation of an enabling environment for gender equality in humanitarian or development programming.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Office setting or work from home.
- Required to be seated whilst completing computer and desk-based tasks for long periods.
- May be required to work irregular business hours, particularly in times of crises and emergencies.
