As a Consultant in our ICT Systems Architecture team, you will play a key role in driving technological excellence and delivering exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into comprehensive High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level (LLD) Solution Designs. Utilize advanced knowledge of system software, virtualization, data center infrastructure, and storage technologies to architect solutions that meet our clients' unique needs and align with industry best practices.
- Implementation and Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of complex solutions, leveraging your expertise in a diverse range of technologies including Microsoft, Linux, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco UCS, Netapp, and more. Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of systems, networks, and storage infrastructure, while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Technical Support and Optimization: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for implemented solutions, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and maximize system performance. Continuously optimize and fine-tune systems, networks, and storage environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Project managers, engineers, and architects, to coordinate project delivery and ensure alignment with client requirements and expectations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues, and collaborate on problem-solving and decision-making.
- Technology Innovation and Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in ICT systems architecture, compute, and storage. Share your knowledge and expertise with team members through mentorship, training sessions, and knowledge sharing initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of solution designs, configurations, and implementation processes. Generate comprehensive reports and documentation to capture project milestones, technical specifications, and recommendations for future enhancements or optimizations.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in ICT systems architecture, design, implementation, and support.
- Advanced certifications in one or more of the following technologies:
- Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud architecture, Netapp, Veeam, Cisco/Meraki, etc.
- Experience developing HLD/LLD Solution Designs and implementing solutions utilizing a wide range of technologies, including servers, system software, virtualization, data center infrastructure, and storage technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, firewalls, enterprise architecture frameworks, disaster recovery (DR), business continuity planning (BCP), and cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, SQL, etc. is considered an asset.
- Experience in Enterprise or Public Sector organizations is considered an asset.
