Project Manager - Role & Responsibilities

Well-capitalized startup seeks extremely talented Project Managers to drive residential and commercial projects, handling 3-5 projects at once valued between $500k - $2 million.

You must have experience in precision to detail, organization, problem-solving, and efficiently completing projects in a fraction of the time that most consider possible.

Top-notch risk management and customer service skills are essential. You should have a bachelor's degree or master’s in construction management, project management, civil engineering, or equivalent. Familiarity with estimating or lean construction methods would be helpful but is not necessary.

Must be willing to relocate to the Ontario area.

Compensation will include meaningful project profit sharing.

Mission for Project Manager:

To drive a 95% project success rate on 3-5 residential or commercial projects simultaneously by ensuring efficient project planning, timely completion, proactive teamwork, and cost-effective execution while maintaining extremely high-quality standards and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

1. Optimize Project Mobilization increasing Construction Efficiency in 1 Month.
   • Ensure 100% alignment with project team on tasks and deliverables during reviews.
   • Track and report financials, achieving 100% accuracy throughout projects.
   • Finalize and secure 75% of customer material selections within 3 weeks of post award.
   • Complete task management and project schedule to reflect 95% of task-related information.
2. Ensure all Projects are on Time and Within Budget in 3 Months.
   • Complete 90% of projects within the scheduled timeline.
   • Maintain subcontractor costs by 98% without extra charges.
   • Submit change orders within 5 days of identifying scope of work changes.
   • Respond to project teams efficiently in 2hrs or less, ensuring alignment.
3. Increase Project Successful Completion Rate to 95% in 6 Months.
   • Maintain a 98% success rate in quality standards and quality control checklists.
   • Achieve 95% accuracy compliance in subcontractor work.
   • Improve quality standards for each phase by 5% on every project.
   • Achieve success rate in perfecting design plan by 95%, by continuously updating task information.
   • Achieve 100% compliance with building codes, with 0% compliance issues reported.
4. Improve Cost Performance & Risk Management in 9 Months.
   • Achieve an average cost-savings rate of 2% for each project while maintaining quality.
   • Maintain profit margins between 30% - 40% by closely managing financials.
   • Achieve 90% collection of invoice payments within 30 days of payment schedule.
   • Send weekly updates to 100% of customers on project status.
5. Achieve Customer Satisfaction Ratings and Collect Feedback by End of Year 1.
   • Report 3-5 pieces of customer feedback for each project to improve operations.
   • Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 or higher in communication.
   • Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 4.7/5 or higher in building trust & integrity.
   • Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 or higher in friendliness & accommodating.
   • Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 4.5/5 or higher in professionalism & organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00-$138,000.00 per year
