We are seeking an experienced Construction Plumber to join our team who is enthusiastic and passionate about delivering a first-class service and understands and ensures the needs of the client are met on each and every successful project.
THE ROLE:
As a Construction Plumber, you will report to IHM Mechanical Senior Management, Lead Hand, and Foreman Team, and carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in construction projects.
- Interpret and implement blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless project completion.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Plan layout and installation of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures based on specifications and applicable code.
- May be required to travel between work sites on an as-needed basis.
- Due to the nature of the business, may be required to work an atypical work schedule from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years’ experience as a construction plumber.
- Completion of Plumbing Apprenticeship / Red Seal Qualification is essential.
- Advanced working knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Certification or relevant licensing as required by provincial regulations.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.

- Ability to collaborate with team members, technicians, and management in an effective and collaborative manner.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Following, implementing, and supervision on site- safety and quality control measures.
- Working Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal safety regulations and safety codes.
- Ability to solve problems and make on the spot decisions.
- Track record of meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift 25-50 lbs frequently and be able to bend, stoop, and twist.
