Here are details for the Construction Labourer / Scaffold Apprentice position.
General Job Duties:
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.

Driver's license is an asset.
Scaffolding/construction experience considered an asset.

Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
This position may require employees to work shifts outside of regular Monday to Friday day shifts, including night work, overtime during the week, longer than 8-hour shifts, or on weekends.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds (32 kilograms) regularly. Physically fit.
This position will require working primarily outdoors, encountering varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Employees may be exposed to moderate to high noise levels, uneven ground, extreme weather conditions, dusty conditions, working in confined spaces, working from heights exceeding two meters, highly mobile large equipment and trucks, overhead hazards, and travelling public adjacent to the work area. The position requires the ability to properly assess the conditions and follow appropriate Safe Work Procedure as directed by the supervisor.
Required to attend training and safety courses (fully paid for by the union).
