Location: Sioux Lookout, ON P8T 1E5

Workplace Information: On site

Salary: $28.40 hourly / 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Dusty, Cold/refrigerated

Work Setting: Remote location

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload and transport construction materials
2. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
3. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
4. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
5. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
6. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
7. Level earth to fine grade specifications
8. Pave and rake asphalt
9. Assist in demolishing buildings
10. Clean and pile salvaged materials
11. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
12. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
13. Direct traffic at or near construction sites
