We have an immediate opening for a Construction Labourer in and around the Calgary Area.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensures safe and steady production of the work.
2. Loads and unloads construction materials on site.
3. Assists heavy equipment operators with swamping.
4. Lays pipe in trench, connects pipe using hands and hand tools.
5. Pulls cable in pipe or directly into trench.
6. Shovels, rakes and levels aggregates including sand in trench.
7. Assists in site clean-up.
8. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Is in good physical health with no limitations.
2. Has familiarity working around excavation equipment.
3. Good hand-eye coordination.
4. Works well as a team in accomplishing projects.
5. Has an interest in learning blueprint reading and referencing specification guidelines.
6. Promotion of safe work practices.
7. Good communication skills both verbal and written.

A few qualifications that would help you succeed:

1. Own means of transportation to and from site.
2. Previous experience is an asset.
3. Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s abstract in good standing.
