Job Overview:

1. Load, unload and transport construction materials
2. Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
3. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
4. Perform pre-operational inspection
5. Clean and lubricate cranes
6. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
7. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
8. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas
9. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
10. Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards
11. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
12. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
13. Operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels
14. Level earth to fine grade specifications
15. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines
16. Perform routine maintenance work
17. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
18. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
19. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
20. Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Position Requirements:

1. English Fluency Level required for position: Intermediate
