Concrete Finisher jobs in Canada

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete. Your expertise will ensure that our projects meet high-quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and help with setting up formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
• Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
• Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
• Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures

Seasonal: May 1, 2025 to November 7, 2025 (190 days)

Requirements:

• Punctual
• Ability to work long hours
• Able to work standing for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Available on Saturdays as needed, overtime, evenings
• Driver's license
