Majesty's Pleasure is changing the way people unwind, connect, indulge and experience beauty services. We are a salon, spa, cocktail bar, cafe, retail space and event space.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. The Host / Hostess (also known as the Concierge) at Majesty’s Pleasure participates in all front of house activities including but not limited to welcoming guests, confirming appointment details and checking guests in and out. The Host / Hostess rotate through 3 different positions in the salon / spa depending on the shift, including Front Desk Host, Bar Service and Floor Server. These positions may include taking drink and snack orders, pouring wine / champagne, making cocktails and serving as well as checking in on guests on the floor in service in the spa / salon.

Duties:

1. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
2. Seat guests and manage the seating chart
3. Assist with reservations and walk-in guests
4. Provide menus and relay information about services, products and cafe / salon offerings
5. Take guests' coats and belongings
6. Manage waitlists during peak hours
7. Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the host area
8. Collaborate with servers and bar staff to ensure smooth operation

Duties may also include:

1. Hosting large groups
2. Hosting VIP and Influencer clients
3. Selling retail including beauty products, lifestyle products and memberships

Skills:

1. Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
2. Strong communication skills to interact with guests effectively
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
5. Understanding of restaurant operations and guest relations
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
7. Experience serving
8. Experience making drinks
9. Experience in the beauty services industry
