The Concierge is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents and ignites the warmth of human connection.

This is a Temporary Part Time Concierge position with 40.5 hours bi-weekly.

Schedule Rotation:

Term: 3 months

Responsibilities

1. Respond to all resident and visitor enquiries as their first priority in a diplomatic manner, utilizing problem solving and complaint resolution skills and ensure all complaints are forwarded to the General Manager in writing.
2. Promote excellent customer service in all personal interactions with visitors, families, residents, and team members.
3. Greet all visitors to the building and ensure that their needs are addressed in a pleasant and unhurried fashion and conduct mini tours in accordance with policies and procedures.
4. Provide clerical and computer support to all managers as requested.
5. Complete required records to support cash transactions related to the sale of guest and team member meal vouchers/tickets.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Haves

1. Completion of grade 12 education.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Positive attitude and proven customer service skills through related work experience.
4. Proven organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
5. Must demonstrate computer proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Bonus Points for Having

1. Additional applied courses, i.e., office administration preferred.
