As the first point of contact, the Concierge plays a valuable role and is responsible for ensuring exceptional service through greeting residents, staff, and visitors, as well as providing general administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and approachable image as the first point of contact
- Maintain a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Build relationships with residents, staff, and visitors while using compassion in difficult situations
- Manage incoming calls and transfer to appropriate individuals
- Maintain resident services and identify areas for improvement
- Respond to resident inquiries promptly
- Assist with coordination of move-ins
- Operate and maintain office equipment
- Provide general administrative support, including documentation, mail/courier, and office supply inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- One (1) year experience as a Concierge or in a similar role is preferred
- Completion of a post-secondary administration program is an asset
- Experience in a residential care setting is an asset
- Demonstrated excellent client service skills
- Superior interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
