You have a strong work ethic, superior organizational skills, and excellent communication. You love to cook, truly believe that "teamwork makes the dreamwork", and are friendly and easy to work with. You have a high attention to detail and love working in a fun, fast-paced environment.

As the Concessions Cook at The Save on Foods Memorial Centre, you play a critical part in our guest's experience. You use your thorough understanding of food safety and handling to prepare high quality meals, ensuring the highest standards are attained. We'll do our part to provide a fun environment and great teammates to work with. Ideally, you have recent experience as a cook in a fast-paced environment and you already have your Food Safe certification.

We offer competitive pay, a significant tip-pool system, typically upwards of $50 per event, and other incentives such as free hockey tickets and family style dinner!

If you have a good sense of humour, a track record of providing excellent meals to your customers, are available evenings and weekends, have your Food Safe certification and want to work a few shifts a month during events and hockey games, click that "apply" button today! This is a perfect side gig for experienced cooks as the shifts are during game and event days. 1-2 shifts per month in the summer and 2-3 shifts per week during the busier hockey season.

Save-on Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria is a busy entertainment facility that hosts a WHL hockey team (The Victoria Royals), minor hockey, community hockey, and numerous professional concerts, shows and exhibitions throughout the year. A night out at a Royals hockey game or a concert by your favorite artist is not complete without a great food & beverage experience, and we take pride in offering fast and courteous service, alongside innovative and progressive menu offerings.
