Job PurposeTo ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies in relation to acquiring & maintaining certifications, and efficient processing of customer and vendor claims.
Duties & Responsibilities- Support company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) by proactively contributing to initiatives that drive strategic goals and organizational success.
- Work with all departments to maintain, update and improve our ISO 9001:2015 & ISO13485, and work on obtaining future accreditations.
- Ensure reporting is accurate and up to date for all internal and external programs.
- Lead the internal audits for ISO and GDP.
- Schedule and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor, maintain, and improve all Quality processes and reporting.
- Ensure compliance/participation with organizations including: PIP/CTPT.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure processes and policies are being adhered to, including tracking staff training as it relates to ISO and GDP.
- Create and document new processes as they arise.
- Maintain all controlled documents.
- Assess freight claims, including working with customers and carriers to settle claims in a timely manner.
- File claims and follow up with insurance companies and all stakeholders involved.
- Provide guidance on the requirements of applicable claim documentation and follow up to ensure compliance.
- Organize and maintain claim files and records, and prepare and distribute reports.
- Work directly with insurance company on annual review and renewal of company insurance policies.
- Report and review company KPI reports with department leaders.

Professional & Educational Background- 5+ years’ experience within a Compliance role.
- Previous experience within the Third-Party Logistics or Freight industry is considered an asset.
- ISO Training certification.
- Familiar with / or training in GDP compliance.
Skills & Ability- Communication: Has good listening skills and communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats including proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Organization: Must be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail.
- Multi-tasking: Must have strong multi-tasking abilities, be proactive and adaptable based on the needs of our clients.
- Problem-solving: Strong ability to ‘think outside the box’ when dealing with complex requirements.
