Job Summary:
The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the National Safety Code fleet compliance, NDT compliance, TDG compliance, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. The role involves managing GPS tracking systems, specifically serving as the GeoTab System Administrator, maintaining commercial vehicle preventative maintenance (PM) program compliance, and managing insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities:
National Safety Code Fleet Compliance:
- Possess a deep understanding of the National Safety Code regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to National Safety Code regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote compliance.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Compliance:
- Oversee NDT compliance processes and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Maintain records and documentation related to NDT activities.
- Coordinate NDT testing as required.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with TDG regulations and standards.
- Provide training resources and support to staff involved in the transportation of dangerous goods.
- Track and report on training participation/completion and schedule required training as needed.
Tracking and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain a robust tracking and reporting system for compliance activities.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to stakeholders.
- Support Field Operations by providing educational materials.
GPS Tracking Oversight (GeoTab System Admin):
- Administer the GeoTab GPS tracking system for EAE fleet.
- Work with EAE team to establish recurring reporting utilizing GPS data.
- Monitor and analyze GPS data to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular audits identifying gaps in logged data.
- Provide GPS reports/data as and when required for investigations.
Commercial Vehicle PM Program Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance schedules for commercial vehicles, including retorques.
- Coordinate with mechanical teams to resolve any compliance-related issues.
- Support EAE team in tracking and scheduling various preventative maintenance.
Insurance Claims Management:
- Manage insurance claims related to EAE fleet and operations.
- Act as EAE's single point of contact for adjusters.
- Ensure communication around claims is consistent and tracking is accurate and reliable.
- Liaise with insurance adjusters and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of claims.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance-related role.
- Strong understanding of fleet management, NDT, TDG, and insurance claims processes.
- Proficiency in using GPS tracking systems, especially GeoTab.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to ensuring compliance and safety standards.
