What do you need to succeed?
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required (travel up to 1-1.5 hour radius average) paid mileage and travel time
• Clinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal and orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to work
• Willingness to provide in-vivo OT treatment in a variety of settings, including client’s homes, workplaces, and/or in the community
• Passion about your profession, commitment to ongoing professional development, and dedication to providing excellent client care
• The ability to thrive in a self-directed and independent environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and analytic skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Empathy and an effective ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
• Experience in the private sector, particularly auto sector legislation and mental health, is an asset but not required
