The position?

We are seeking an outstanding Community Manager to join our team at Fulham Terrace, our newly opened 116-unit senior affordable community located in Riverview, Florida.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an outstanding, experienced professional Community Manager to be responsible for the direct management of our Fulham Terrace Apartment community in Riverview, FL. The Community Manager should possess high energy, expert communication, relationship-building skills, and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to embrace a shared responsibility environment and work with a diverse group of people while keeping a strong sense of ownership attitude.

What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Community Manager?

Responsibilities

You will:

  1. Manage all aspects of property
  2. Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet company standards
  3. Market property and vacant spaces, on and off-site
  4. Maintain a positive, productive relationship with residents
  5. Oversee and manage property staff and assess performance
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  7. Manage resident activities and calendar
  8. Oversee activity of the website and social media networks
  9. Coordinate vendors
  10. Collect rent, complete all financial reporting, and handle accounts payable
  11. Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data, and trends
  12. Accomplish financial goals and report regularly on financial performance
  13. Update job and market knowledge
  14. Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and governmental agencies
  15. Resolve all day-to-day property management issues including disputes related to property agreements, tenant leases, and vendor contracts
  16. Ensure the highest levels of quality are maintained for the asset, services, and resident satisfaction
  17. Report to Regional Manager
  18. Attendance is an essential job function

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  2. At least two years of LIHTC experience, preferred
  3. Property Management course (CAM) a plus
  4. Proven work experience as a property manager
  5. Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
  6. In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
  7. Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
  8. Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram
  9. Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
  10. Well-organized with excellent time management skills
  11. Must be adaptable; able to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  12. Professional appearance and demeanor

What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?

  1. Air-conditioned office, well-lit and well-ventilated. High level of confidentiality (confidential information with regards to financial documents during the budget process, in-coming mail, e-mail, telephone calls, vendor contracts, and lender/owner information)
  2. This is a full-time position and may include after-hours and weekends
  3. General office equipment use will include, but not be limited to the copier, scanner, fax, computer, tablet
  4. Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively work in a standard office environment
