Interior Health is currently seeking a Community Health Worker to join our Flexible Adaptable Home Support team (FAHST) in beautiful Kamloops, B.C.
This position provides services to clients who may be residing in shelter or low barrier areas.

As a Community Health Worker, you will work as part of a dynamic team of Nurses and LPNs who support Community Clients’ independence and ability to stay at home. Community Health Workers provide home support services to clients, by assisting with personal care and daily living, while promoting maximum independence. Community Health Workers are key players in the home health care plan for each client.
This opportunity is for those with a passion for helping individuals who are underserved in non-traditional settings within the community.
This is a permanent part-time (0.92 FTE) opportunity.
Shifts of work will be scheduled evenings with shift times of 14:00 to 22:00 hours.
The Flexible Adaptable Home Support Team (FAHST) provides Home Support services to vulnerable clients who may require more flexibility and consistency in their care. Home Support workers work with the support of Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses and others. Clients of FAHST typically face multiple barriers to accessing health care and may also be unhoused or struggling to maintain housing.
