Communications Coordinator

The communications coordinator will be responsible for crafting and managing internal communications, including the creation of engaging content for our quarterly newsletters, company intranet, and website. They will also assist with translations, internal events, employee recognition programs, and collaborate with external partners for social media efforts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, update, and delivery of professional quality internal communications in English and in French
• Oversee and update the company website
• Draft and distribute engaging quarterly internal newsletters
• Redesign the company intranet to enhance user experience and post regular engaging content
• Assist with simple internal translations
• Assist in coordinating the yearly employee recognition and retirement programs
• Coordinate the design of promotional material and distribute to employees
• Assist in organizing internal events
• Collaborate with external firms regarding social media campaigns
• Perform administrative tasks as required

Your Profile

• Collegial diploma (DEC-Cegep) in Communications, Marketing, or related field
• 2+ years of experience working in a communications position or similar role
• Excellent writing and editing skills both in English and in French
• Highly detailed oriented
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
• Good understanding and proficiency of various social media platforms
• Creative mindset
