About Banff Avenue Community House (BACH):
Banff Avenue Community House is a non-profit organization situated in the heart of a low-income social housing neighbourhood in South-East Ottawa. The Community House’s overarching goal is to offer a safe, inclusive space where individuals, children/youth, and families can gather, connect, and access a variety of supportive programs and services that are beneficial to the community in which we serve.
Overview of Position:
Our team is searching for someone who is a self-starter and has a strong understanding of marketing and promotions within the not-for-profit field. The Banff Avenue Community House Communications Leader would implement a communication strategy and messaging that reflect the vision, mission, and culture of BACH. Key areas of focus are on fund development to enhance programs and services, sharing impacts, as well as ongoing acknowledgement of the work being done to stakeholders (partners, donors, the community, and the public).
