About The Innovative Learning Department At Humber

Innovative Learning at Humber is a dynamic center for teaching and learning, driven by our commitment to belonging, equity, and sustainability. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Communication Assistant will play a key role in enhancing the clarity, consistency, and effectiveness of internal and external communications for the department. This includes reviewing and refining existing communication templates, resources, and campaigns across planners, websites, and communication platforms. The incumbent will also contribute to the development of new materials such as infographics and other visual content, working collaboratively with various team members, including the Dean, Associate Deans and Graphic Designers.

The Communication Assistant will also curate content for the digital newsletter and Faculty Handbook. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining a structured database and related datasets that support content strategy—covering areas such as SEO data, communication platform reports, and tracking spreadsheets.
