Commis comptable / accounting clerk

moozoom is looking for a Commis Comptable / Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to support our mission through accurate financial record-keeping.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Your contributions will help our team maintain accurate financial data and support the organization in achieving its goals.

Responsibilities

• Process and record financial transactions.
• Preparing invoices and managing accounts receivable.
• Support accounts payable functions, including processing vendor payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and records.
• Contribute to various accounting projects as needed.
• Handle accounts receivable collections.

Requirements

• Diploma in accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in both French and English is required.
• Experience in a similar accounting role is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week.
