What You’ll Do as a Commercial Solar Advisor:
Consultative Sales & Business Development
- Identify and engage commercial and industrial clients exploring solar solutions through cold outreach and various other strategies.
- Educate prospects on financial benefits, incentives, and net-metering.
- Develop strong relationships with business owners, property managers, and financial decision-makers.
Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation
- Conduct energy feasibility assessments and present financial ROI analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solar proposals.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
Pipeline Management & Market Expertise
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through inbound leads and self-generated opportunities. Warm leads will also be provided to assist with pipeline development.
- Stay up to date on regulatory policies, financing programs, and emerging solar technologies.
- Represent Green Integrations at industry events, networking groups, and trade shows.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in solar, energy, construction, or industrial sales.
- A strong consultative sales approach, with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Confident in cold calling and outreach to commercial prospects, with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong technical ability to interpret utility bills, energy audits, solar panel system designs, and financial projections.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with CRM tools, lead tracking, and sales pipeline management.
- Passionate about renewable energy and a keen interest in the energy transition and technological advancements that are underway.
