If you are looking for your next professional challenge, we have an opportunity for you! As a Shift Security Supervisor at Brookfield Properties, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and processes in place! This position is located downtown in the heart of Calgary!

Main Responsibilities:

1. Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.
2. Liaise with client, contractors, tenants, emergency services.
3. Review and export of CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
4. Providing excellent customer service to various tenants.
5. Provide first aid and basic life safety in an emergency situation.
6. Must be able to cover a guard's shift on an as-needed basis.
7. Coordinating day-to-day operations to the site supervisor.
8. Responsible for ensuring that security licenses are up to date for bullpen staff.
9. Assisting the Field supervisor in tracking various training matrices for guards and the team leads.
10. Maintaining Training Matrix and performing other responsibilities as per assigned by the client.

Qualifications to become a Security Shift Supervisor:

1. 1-3 years experience in security supervisor experience.
2. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
3. Valid Alberta Security license.
4. Must be able to work 4/4 2 12-hour day shifts/2 12-hour night rotational shifts.
5. Exceptional interpersonal skills both oral and written.
6. Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion.
7. Demonstrated comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest.
8. Must have strong customer service skills, mature attitude, and professionalism.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
10. Leadership and mentorship skills.
11. Able to work in a team environment or independently as required.
