Job description
  • Identify and secure new customers within the assigned territory through strategic prospecting and win-win negotiations.
  • Research prospective clients and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Cultivate and engage with industry partners, including suppliers, contractors, dealerships, and referral sources.
  • Assess customer needs and develop tailored, value-driven proposals that address service, product, delivery, and pricing requirements.
  • Collaborate with Division Managers to coordinate installations and service work.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives, promotions, and advertising efforts as needed.
  • Analyze account profitability and ensure proper approvals and documentation for equipment and supply agreements, aligning with ROI expectations.
  • Act as a trusted technical resource, gaining expert product knowledge to support customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in industry training and trade shows to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Support product and equipment deliveries as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Experience in petroleum, lubricants, or industrial sales is an asset.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and thrives in an independent work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
